Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Manage a caseload of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings.
- Provide medical oversight, assessments, and care planning.
- Train and support Direct Support Professionals (non-medical staff).
- Conduct health assessments and respond to medical needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with physician orders.
- Coordinate with medical providers and attend appointments as needed.
- Perform clinical tasks such as injections, catheter care, and wound care.
- Lead staff training on medication administration and health-related topics.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
- Licensed RN or LPN in South Dakota (or compact state).
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teaching skills.
- Valid driver's license; minimal local travel required.
