Responsibilities/Job Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings.
  • Provide medical oversight, assessments, and care planning.
  • Train and support Direct Support Professionals (non-medical staff).
  • Conduct health assessments and respond to medical needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with physician orders.
  • Coordinate with medical providers and attend appointments as needed.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as injections, catheter care, and wound care.
  • Lead staff training on medication administration and health-related topics.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

  • Licensed RN or LPN in South Dakota (or compact state).
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Valid driver's license; minimal local travel required.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Flexible Schedules.
  • Open to Full Time or Part Time
  • Hybrid work options
  • Limited travel; primarily administrative with occasional on-site visits.
