Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care Neuro NightsJob Specialty: Registered Nurse - InpatientJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend, and 2 major, 2 minor holidaysGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Neuro ICU Experience RequiredLicense: Current RN LicenseCertifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)Must-Have: Neuro ICU Experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certificationsJob Description:- Be a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care.- Conduct the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to population-specific characteristics.- Partner with patients and families to make their goals the focus of the care plan.- Coordinate and document safe quality patient care and demonstrate professional teamwork and collaboration.- Participate in performance improvement activities and promote nursing research and evidence-based practice.- Support professional development and serve as a mentor for other nurses and healthcare staff.- Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum and participate in developing care protocols.- Uphold healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.- Use strong interpersonal and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergencies decisively.- Possess excellent time management skills and strong critical thinking abilities.
