Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- ACLS is required within 1 year of hire.
- Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
Department/Unit Summary
Delivers patient care by performing treatments, administering medications, and documenting interventions. Monitors and communicates patient status, prioritizes urgent needs, and assists with daily living activities. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care and discharge planning, provides age-appropriate education, and advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
