Part-Time 7:00pm - 7:30am (night shift differential included)
Pay: $35 - $45 / hour based on years of experience, $5,000 sign-on bonus paid out in installments over a 6-month period

Blakehurst is seeking
Registered Nurses to join our team. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care. The RN is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.
Primary Responsibilities: - Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
- Administers direct care as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications to patients.
- Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
- Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
Other Duties: - Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
- Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered.
- Responds to resident emergency call system.
- Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
- Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
- Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence.
- Participates in family/resident counseling, as necessary.
- Assists with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.
Qualifications - All nurses must be currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification.
- Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to work well in teams.
