REGISTERED NURSE- F.A.C.T. TEAM Gracepoint has been one of Tampa's largest behavioral and mental health facilities since 1949. We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse for our F.A.C.T. Team to provide direct nursing care in the community. JOB SUMMARY FACT Registered Nurse is a professional position responsible for medication management, administration, and documentation of medication to patients, screening and monitoring patients for medical problems and medication side effects. Communicates with and coordinates services with other medical providers, education in health promotion, prevention, and education activities related to patient behavior. The entire team will rotate on call, working evening hours, and weekend coverage so must be available for rotation of these changing hours Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 PM plus on-call when applicable. Company Discounts JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:. Provides education to FACT team members on monitoring psychiatric symptoms and medication side effects. Work with team members to assist patients with strategies to maximize medication compliance. Assess the physiological, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients Implement the plan of care based on nursing standards and practice Evaluate the appropriateness of nursing interventions defined in the plan of care Ensure the accuracy and completeness of required documentation by behavioral health technicians and licensed practical nurses Demonstrate competency in critical thinking and decision-making skills Monitor staff and continuous workflow of the unit Share professional and technical knowledge following policies and procedures Assist with caseload and may assist with patient transportation when needed May deliver medications to patients and document patient self-administration of medications. JOB QUALIFICATIONS. Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN-approved program. A minimum of one year of psychiatric mental and/or behavioral patient care experience Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public Must be at least 21 years of age or older, have a valid Florida driver's license, valid car insurance, and reliable transportation Mon-Fri 8:00- 4:30 PM Full-Time Employment
