Start Date: 04/28/2025 to 07/26/2025

Scheduled Notes: Full Time Nights + EOW, Holiday + 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Float Pool role MUST be able to float between both GGH and SSMH locations

If taking 48-hour vs. 36-hour contract, no On Call required.

RNs 3x12 nights (7p-7a), EOW/Holiday rotations & 2 OC shifts per 4-weeks.

Cross-trained Candidates that can work in different units or specializations like Critical Care, Med-Surg, and Tele.
Required:

ACLS

BLS

PALS

NIHSS (AHA or RQI certs only)

MUST BE COMFORTABLE FLOATING TO ICU/ER/MS/MST
License: Minimum: Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
Other: Minimum: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record

The staff member must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient group.

Offering an Assignment Completion Bonus of up to $3,950 for eligible travelers on the GGH RN ED - FT requisition. How to Qualify for the Bonus:

Start Dates: April 28th or May 12th (Orientation dates)
Assignment Length: 20 weeks
Weekly Hours: Minimum 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: $95/hour
Attendance Requirement: No more than 2 callouts during the assignment
Bonus Deduction for Callouts:
1 callout = $3,175 bonus
2 callouts = $2,380 bonus
3+ callouts = No bonus
Holiday or weekend callout = No bonus (unless pre-approved RTO)

Your bonus will be paid at the end of 20 weeks based on your attendance record.

Important: If you prefer a 13-week contract , the same $64/hour rate applies, but the bonus does not apply to shorter contracts.
