RN Director of Nursing

Job Title: RN - DON

Location: Bluefield, VA

Pay Range: Local : $60/hr & Travel: $70/hr
Shift Timing: Day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Shift Hour: 8 hours

Start Date: Asap

Job Type: Contract ( 9 Weeks with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary: Our Client is seeking a compassionate RN DON with the ability to remain calm under pressure. The RN DON will monitor patients, perform routine checks, and assist doctors and nurses.

Responsibilities:
Managing and leading all nursing personnel operations.
Developing short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department.
Establishing new policies and updating existing policies to improve the standard of care for patients.
Planning and overseeing admission, nursing, and patient care processes.
Maintaining department budgets and recording all expenses.
Responding to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner.
Coordinating with medical staff and other departments to ensure hospital efficiency.
Overseeing all record-keeping processes and ensuring all necessary documents are accurate and up-to-date.
Hiring and training new nursing staff members.
Evaluating staff performance and preparing accurate reports detailing your findings.

Requirements:
Active, unrestricted certification/license as RN.
BLS from AHA.
COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption.
Demonstrated ability to provide top-tier service and exceptional communication skills.
