Job Title: RN Director - Med Surg

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN Director to oversee the Med-Surg Department in West Palm Beach, FL. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, driving quality care, improving patient satisfaction, and ensuring department efficiency. This role requires a strong background in Med-Surg management, leadership, and operational excellence within an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the Med-Surg Department's daily operations, including contract services.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while meeting productivity and fiscal goals.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive continuous enhancement in patient satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and support to staff, ensuring performance aligns with hospital standards.
- Conduct regular patient and staff rounding to monitor experiences and outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN License or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- 5+ years of experience in Med-Surg management or leadership in an acute care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Background check required.
