Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Emergency Services- Sign-On and Relocation Bonuses Available.

An exciting career opportunity is now available for a Director of Emergency Services at Gadsden Regional Medical Center (GRMC) in Gadsden, AL. GRMC is a 346-bed acute care hospital with inpatient and outpatient care. This hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission, certified in hip and knee replacements, and have recognized programs in cardiology, pulmonology, sleep medicine and stroke services.

Job Description

The Director of Emergency Services assumes leadership responsibility for the divisions clinical and administrative departments assigned. The director is responsible for the development of patient care programs, policies, and procedures. The director will participate with administration, management, medical staff, clinical leaders and frontline employees in the decision making structures and processes. The director will implement an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess, and improve the reliability and quality of care delivered to patients. The director is responsible for budgeting and managing supplies, equipment, and personnel in the division. The director will ensure that division staff has sufficient information to comply with corporate compliance program.

Education
BSN Required
Master's Degree preferred or working towards completion within three years of hire.

Certifications and Experience
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama
BLS within 30 days
ALS within 6 months
Previous Hospital Leadership experience
Knowledge of business application
5-7 years nursing experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility in management preferred
