What We Are Looking For Navarro Regional Hospital is now hiring a Full time Registered Nurse (RN) for our PACU/Outpatient Surgery to work in our thriving 162 bed acute care hospital. The Circulator acts as a team member of the operating room staff and ensures that the surgical room is sterile and safe for the patient. What You Will Do Job Duties:. Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills Required skills:. Strong attention to detail. Physical stamina to handle long, arduous work hours. Excellent communication skills. Ability to adapt to change quickly. Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics Minimum Requirements:. Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing. Currently certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. One (1) year of experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Preferred Requirements:. Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Two (2) years of experience as Circulator preferred Working Hours:. Five (5) Eight (8) hour shifts. Call is required.
