Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a CVICU nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. This role requires proficiency in advanced clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and respond to changes in condition promptly.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, inhalation therapy, and family planning consultations as needed.
Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for accurate documentation of patient information and care standards.
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.
Participate in the development of best practices for behavioral health management within the CVICU setting.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols during all procedures.

Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience.
Previous experience in critical care or CVICU is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions and treatments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to cardiovascular care is a plus.

Pay: $2,066.00 - $2,800.00 per week
