A Day in the Life:
The Home of the Innocents, Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center is a skilled nursing facility providing short-term, long-term, and respite care for pediatric residents with diverse medical, developmental, and physical needs, including congenital abnormalities, traumatic injuries, developmental disabilities, self-harming behaviors, seizures, and complex respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
We are seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to coordinate and oversee daily nursing care provided by licensed nurses and nursing assistants. You will be responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and compassionate care for residents at our Kosair for Kids Complex Center(KCC).
Shifts Available
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 24 hours / Week
2nd Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 24 hours / Week
RN Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing services, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures
- Coordinate daily nursing care, collaborating with other departments
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
- Provide leadership in the absence of administrative staff
- Monitor nursing personnel and respond to complaints
- Support and supervise nursing team members
- Assist with staffing and education needs
- Provide direct care to residents, as needed
- Perform administrative duties and contribute to financial objectives
RN Clinical Supervisor Qualifications:
- Current Unencumbered Commonwealth of Kentucky Registered Nurse license
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of direct resident care in a hospital or long term care facility, with supervisory/management experience preferred
- Current CPR / Basic Life Support certification
- Broad knowledge of nursing standards of practice and strong clinical, supervisory, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with integrity, flexibility, and compassion
