RN - Cardiac ICU

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within a teaching hospital setting.

Required
Two years of the following experience is required: Critical care experience IV Insertion and phlebotomy skill Conscious sedation.

Education
Required: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, AHA ACLS,

Duties
Conduct physical examinations and triage patients efficiently
Utilize and manage durable medical equipment (DME) effectively
Provide critical care to patients with acute conditions
Demonstrate proficiency in airway management and hospital medicine practices
Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care

Experience
Prior experience in ICU or critical care nursing is preferred
Familiarity with travel nursing practices is advantageous
Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
Strong skills in airway management and emergency response
Experience working in a teaching hospital environment is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $2,760.00 - $3,035.00 per week
