DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
E1 Oncology is newly established 29-bed inpatient oncology unit. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a new, dedicated nursing team that always puts their patients first.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager
Assumes staff assignments and preceptor responsibility
Provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Charge nurse experience, preceptor experience and/or leadership experience
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
Current or recent Oncology nursing experience
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
ACLS preferred
