Job Summary:
The Security & Risk Solution Architect guides and leads the delivery of ServiceNow implementations by providing guidance and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, technology strategy consulting, and Security & Risk domain standards and best-practices.
Find solutions to business problems. Ensuring that the new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business, user, and other perspectives.
They must be able to describe the solution in a language that is understandable to all.
They should be able to facilitate communication (bridge the gap) between process owners and the C-Suite. Additionally, provides technical leadership on projects, including hands on problem solving and development, mentoring, and peer review.
Required Skills:
• 6+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.
• 3+ years of experience in an Integrated Risk Management domain
• Participated in 20+ ServiceNow implementations across various disciplines.
• 3+ years of architecting solutions in the ServiceNow platform
• Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance
• Micro-Certification - Business Continuity Management
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Requirements workshops and design discussions for IRM and business continuity projects, consulting on both ServiceNow and Security & Risk best practices.
• Manage all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on advanced development.
• Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.
• Fulfill Project s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
• Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices.
• Understand how the technologies available can be used to solve the business problem.
• Understand what frameworks, platform application, or technical stack can be used to create a solution.
• Understand how the ServiceNow application will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will interact with each other
• Understand how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported.
• Develops complex technical solutions
• Provides peer review for completed work
• Ability to define the Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow
• Ability to clearly define for stakeholders how Governance works with respect to the platform and how it works with respect to the project.
• Ability to clearly support Organizational Change Management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.
• Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed.
• Lead, educate, mentor and develop the Thirdera resources who are assigned to his/her projects.
• Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
• Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a project.
Qualifications:
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow Domain Separation and platform architecture.
• Strong experience in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices and implementation standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.
• Experience in platform assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements related to ServiceNow.
• Project management skills with a focus on aligning technical solutions with business needs.
• Ability to lead training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors and partners.
• Strategic mindset for roadmap planning and platform evolution.
