LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Real Estate Risk Management Analyst to work with one of our top clients in DFW. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and risk management, with a focus on commercial real estate. This role involves analyzing and mitigating risks associated with our real estate portfolio, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, and supporting the overall risk management strategy.
Key Responsibilities: - Risk Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of commercial real estate properties.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Analyze insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for all properties.
- Insurance Management:
- Review and evaluate insurance certificates for coverage requirements and endorsements.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers to obtain and maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
- Ensure timely renewal of insurance policies and compliance with all insurance requirements.
- Claims Management:
- Manage the claims process for property and liability claims.
- Review incident reports, file claims, and ensure timely follow-up with adjusters.
- Track and document all claims-related correspondence and provide necessary backup documentation.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Perform OFAC compliance checks on vendors and tenants.
- Maintain a database of insurance requirements in loans, joint venture agreements, and management agreements.
- Compile underwriting information for annual program renewals and property acquisitions.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with Property Experience (PX) and engineering teams to address carrier recommendations and implement solutions.
- Assist the Risk and Reporting Manager with litigation and complex property claims.
- Provide support for security monitoring and incident tracking.
Essential Skills and Competencies: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate and insurance industry standards.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management or insurance, preferably in commercial real estate.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with reviewing and evaluating insurance certificates and endorsements.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
