Risk Analyst (Actuarial Focus) - Forecasting & Strategic Analysis

Locations: San Antonio, TX Plano, TX Phoenix, AZ Colorado Springs, CO Charlotte, NC Chesapeake, VA Tampa, FL (Hybrid: 4 days on-site)

We're seeking a skilled Credentialed Actuary to join our Forecasting team, where you'll create strategic forecasts, design innovative pricing models, and deliver high-impact insights to leadership. You'll also mentor and guide rising talent within the team, shaping a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

As a senior member of our forecasting practice, you'll:

  • Lead the development and communication of forecasts that inform key business strategies
  • Translate complex business challenges into technical requirements and actionable solutions
  • Research and deploy advanced actuarial, statistical, and predictive modeling techniques
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, representing the actuarial perspective in business-critical conversations
  • Lead special projects, designing new methods and reporting tools to enhance actuarial workflows
  • Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on theory, modeling practices, and professional development
  • Strengthen risk control frameworks by identifying gaps and proposing process improvements
  • Prepare and deliver concise, data-driven communications to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership

  • Bachelor's degree, OR 4 additional years of relevant actuarial/analytical experience beyond the minimum requirement
  • 4+ years of actuarial or analytics experience in insurance or financial services
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) credential
  • Expertise in applying advanced actuarial and statistical techniques to solve business problems
  • Strong technical skills in tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI platforms, and data visualization technologies
  • Ability to simplify and present complex analyses to senior leadership across the enterprise

  • Expertise in actuarial pricing, model development, and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Skilled in translating deep technical insights into high-level business strategies and presentations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and balance priorities through strong stakeholder partnerships
  • Demonstrated success enhancing operational processes and automating workflows for greater efficiency
  • US military experience or strong ties to the military community

  • Salary range: $127,310 - $243,340 (based on experience and location)
