Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to solve problems analytically by applying a mixture of risk and technology expertise to perform impact assessments
- Identify root causes in support of the technology control activities
- Drive risk reduction in the respective technology teams
- Responsible for monitoring the health of audit issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development and validation through approval reviews
- Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations (Technology, Operations, Audit, GIS etc.) and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk
- Communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language suited for various audiences ranging from executives to junior analysts
Requirements: - 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology with some applied within financial services or risk
- 3+ years of professional domain expertise with Risk Management, Audit or Compliant or technical discipline, such as data management and/or information security.
- Organizational acumen
- Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a change ambassador by advocating and embracing change across diverse stakeholders groups
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate teams
- Comfortable with ambiguous situations capable of analyzing, simplifying and collaborating to solve complex problems
- Strategic thinker, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
