RGM Promotions Analyst

OVERVIEW

We're currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic RGM Promotions Analyst to join our growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Promotions Analyst is responsible for delivering tools, detailed analytics and insights to drive promotional optimization and compliance. The role is expected to recommend promotional retail prices and trade funding guidelines by channel and promoted product group, as well as determine the most efficient promotional mechanics across price, visibility, and communication. The selected individual will be a key member of the Commercial Excellence department at PVM. Primary responsibilities include:
•  Develop, implement, and monitor customer performance against promotional guidelines.
•  Lead the sales organization to best-in-class pre- and post-event promotional analysis, seeking to identify insights on discount depth, duration, and mechanics to further influence and optimize the guidelines.
•  Ensure data quality (accuracy, completeness, coverage) and integrity of baseline and incrementality metrics.
•  Use data visualizations to bring insights to the sales organization and customers.
•  Closely partner with the Customer Planning, Sales, and Finance organizations to guide investments in line with strategic intent.
•  Thorough understanding of how promotional spend fits within the broader trade terms portfolio.
•  Thought leader in crafting selling stories to implement promotional changes over time. Additional:
•  Present insights and results to Sales Leadership Team.
•  Ensure governance of customer account plans to adhere to budgeted investment rates.
•  Recommend a tailored promotional strategy by product group accounting for item profitability.
•  Available for minimal travel when needed ( Key Measures:
•  Incremental Units and Gross Margin
•  ROI%

•  Detail-oriented and able to simplify complexity. Readily uses visualization to bring data alive.
•  Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
•  Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders under guidance but with minimal direct supervision.
•  An excellent communicator who can translate data-based insights into business-friendly selling stories using written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
