Position Summary:
The Rewards Center Assistant Manager is responsible for providing direct assistance and reporting to the Rewards Manager and Director of Guest Service. The Rewards Center Assistant Manager is resourceful, a good problem solver, organized and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and while providing communication to Rewards Representatives to increase reward membership to ensure guest satisfaction and retention. This role requires overseeing day-to-day operations within Graton Resort & Casino, providing direct feedback to staff, managing payroll and personnel databases, interview and hiring new staff and other duties requested by management.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Assist and oversee day-to-day operations and the work of Rewards Supervisors, Job Coaches and Front-line Team Members.
3. Assist and ensure all Rewards Center Department responsibilities by enforcing Graton Resort & Casino's policies and procedures fairly among all Team Members and in accordance with the company's negotiated union contract.
4. Monitor and provide feedback to managed staff to effect improvements in organizational goals.
5. Manages workflow of assigned task, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed correctly.
6. Generate emails, memos and reports effectively in both written and verbal form when appropriate.
7. Manage reports and personnel documents, including payroll, PTO's and TCCA's.
8. Assist Rewards Manager in Reviewing and filtering applications for potential new hires.
9. Assist in interviewing applicants and confer with management on hiring process.
10. Assist in managing and controlling inventory and other necessary materials and equipment.
11. Create and manage weekly work schedules.
12. Assist in preparation of Team Member Huddles to pass along important and consistent information regarding property Events, Executive and HR announcements and promotions.
13. Ensure Team Members are exceeding Graton's Guest Service Standards.
14. Assist Rewards Manager in evaluating and overseeing job performance of all Team Members. Holding individual subordinates accountable for performance of their job duties, tasks, policies, and procedures.
15. Involved in club special events/promotions.
16. Assist with guest issues and disputes.
17. Other job-related duties, as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and all shifts.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick judgment decisions.
4. Industry-specific licenses and certificates may be preferred.
5. Proven leadership skills with a history of effective management
6. Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with notable experience handling multiple projects and tasks.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to positively interact with staff and Guest.
8. Comfort using common computer operating systems and tools, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
9. A willingness to work extended hours and be on-call for other duties, as needed.
10. Must be 21 years of age.
11. Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission.
12. Comfortable overseeing operations in the absence of the manager.
13. Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
1. Tasks performed from a sitting or non- sitting position.
2. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
3. These tasks include the maintenance and care of the assigned area.
4. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
5. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
6. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.

Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
