HYBRID Revenue Specialist - Join a Large Healthcare Organization with an Amazing Work Culture.


Pay: $20.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM / 8:30 AM start time

Location: Federal Way, WA (Hybrid - Onsite Day 1 & Once a Month)

Start Date: Late April/Early May Interviews: 3/31 - 4/14

What You'll Do:

  • Perform medical insurance billing, collections, or patient access tasks to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  • Communicate with insurance payers to verify coverage and ensure claims are processed correctly.
  • Submit system setup requests to ensure accurate billing data in the system.
  • Partner with clinics, insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators to maintain timely and accurate insurance information.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.

What We're Looking For:

Basic computer skills - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Basic healthcare insurance experience - Billing, collections, insurance verification, or prior authorizations.

Strong communication skills - Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.

Problem-solving mindset - Quick decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of revenue cycle, insurance rules, and reimbursement practices for federal, state, and managed care payers.
