What You'll Do:
- Perform medical insurance billing, collections, or patient access tasks to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Communicate with insurance payers to verify coverage and ensure claims are processed correctly.
- Submit system setup requests to ensure accurate billing data in the system.
- Partner with clinics, insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators to maintain timely and accurate insurance information.
- Identify process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
What We're Looking For:
Basic computer skills - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Basic healthcare insurance experience - Billing, collections, insurance verification, or prior authorizations.
Strong communication skills - Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
Problem-solving mindset - Quick decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of revenue cycle, insurance rules, and reimbursement practices for federal, state, and managed care payers.
