JOB SUMMARY: This is a Revenue Specialist III position in the General Tax Administration Program (GTA), Audit Process. The incumbent contacts taxpayers to resolve tax liabilities, coordinates the filing and enforcement actions for Department of Revenue taxes, and completes check data entry and posting of payments in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX). The incumbent also processes check payments with Quick Scan and completes all credit card payments via incoming calls from taxpayers for the process. The incumbent is also administrative support backup for the process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue within the General Tax Administration Program.
  • Eight months of experience updating accounts in the System of Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) within the General Tax Administration Program (GTA).
PREFERENCES:
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Quick Scan.
SPECIAL NOTES:
  • All candidates who meet the screening criteria/minimum job requirements will be required to take a Skills Verification Test. Candidates must receive a score of at least 70% to be considered.
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position will generally not exceed $3,516.65 monthly/$42,199.80 annually.
