Position Summary

The Revenue Manager is responsible for driving revenue performance by analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and optimizing pricing strategies across all revenue streams, including rooms, food & beverage, spa, and special events. This role requires a data-driven, analytical thinker who can balance revenue optimization with brand positioning and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy & Optimization:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue across all distribution channels.
  • Analyze market demand, competitor pricing, and booking trends to adjust rates dynamically.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to create promotions that drive revenue while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Ensure rate parity across all booking platforms and manage relationships with OTAs (Online Travel Agencies).
Forecasting & Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze hotel performance metrics, including ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and occupancy trends.
  • Provide regular forecasting and revenue reports to leadership, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Use revenue management software, STR reports, and other analytics tools to support decision-making.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize group sales, corporate bookings, and special event revenue.
Collaboration & Distribution Management:
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align revenue strategies with guest experience goals.
  • Optimize the hotel's presence on direct booking channels, OTAs, and third-party platforms.
  • Manage inventory allocation to ensure the best mix of direct and third-party bookings.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure pricing strategies align with budget goals and financial targets.
Technology & Innovation:
  • Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and business intelligence tools to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Identify emerging industry trends and technology advancements to enhance revenue management strategies.
  • Recommend system enhancements and automation to improve revenue efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of revenue management experience in luxury or upscale hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue management systems (RMS), PMS, and distribution channels.
  • Experience with STR reports, forecasting models, and financial analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with BI (Business Intelligence) tools.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and its impact on revenue performance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment while maintaining a strategic mindset.
