Revenue Cycle Director
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Director level position.
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 peryear.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible start time between 7a-9a AZ

Location: North Scottsdale area (Hybrid and may need to travel to TX 1-2 times per year)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the revenue cycle including patient registration, insurance verification, charge capture, coding, billing, AR follow-up, collections, and denial management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant revenue cycle operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing and collections, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT teams to improve workflow efficiency and optimize revenue cycle processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to revenue cycle staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective training programs.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and outsourced services related to billing and revenue cycle functions.
  • Lead efforts for process improvement and cost reduction across revenue cycle functions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on revenue cycle metrics, financial outcomes, and improvement plans to executive leadership.
  • Partner with finance to support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes that impact revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Director level position.
  • Experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plans.
  • Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and billing systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena, or other EHRs), C-Suite.
  • Proven track record of improving cash flow, reducing AR days, and enhancing collection rates
