Who you are: As a Retirement Services Business Development Officer, it's all about building relationships. You are responsible for developing new business within retirement services and meeting annual standards and criteria for New Business production. You will meet with prospects to discuss Frost services with a focus on Retirement Plans, IRAs and Investment Management Agencies. You have opportunity to participate in community activities and local business activities to enhance the image of the bank. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind. What you'll do: Initiates contacts for developing and booking new business and works internal referrals to the appropriate Wealth Advisors group. Makes and documents outside calls on prospects, customers, and referral sources. Meets with prospects to discuss Frost services and advantages of proper planning and obtains necessary information. Maintains a continuing relationship with existing customers and referral sources within the community to develop goodwill and develop additional business. Ensures that mailing lists are maintained and participates in the development of advertising strategies of services. Reports on all calls/sales made. Participates in community activities and local business activities to enhance the image of the bank. Monitors and maintains the appropriate referral reward program in designated areas of business development efforts. Performs all other duties as assigned. What you'll need: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline; or, 5+ years related experience FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain within 90 days Proficient in Microsoft computer applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organization skills and time management ability Additional Preferred Skills: 3+ years investment related sales experience and client interaction experience Related retirement plan designations: CRPS, QKA, AIF Our Benefits: At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
