Position Overview: We are seeking a Retirement Program Manager who will play a pivotal role in the administration of our 401(k) retirement savings programs. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and participant support.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience. CEBS certification is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in administering 401(k) retirement savings programs required .
- 3+ years of experience in health and welfare benefits administration is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily 401(k) Plan transaction administration and act as the main contact for coordinating with service providers, including third-party record keepers.
- Manage plan documentation, including amendments and summary plan descriptions, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Act as a resource for payroll services regarding contributions.
- Coordinate data and documentation requests with plan auditors.
- Organize quarterly Investment Committee meetings and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist current and former employees with inquiries regarding their retirement benefits.
- Resolve benefits issues and support general plan administration.
- Prepare materials for employee announcements related to changes or additions to benefits.
- Assist in developing bargaining proposals for benefits, including cost data analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends relevant to Taft Hartley administration.
- Ensure timely compliance filings and annual reporting.
