Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Operations Associate
Job Overview
Confluence Financial Partners is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Associate to join our Retirement Plan Services team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a financial services professional who is passionate and committed to providing excellent client service, and eager to contribute to the continued growth of RPS. The RPS Operations Associate will work closely with the Director of RPS and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure that the needs of plan sponsors and participants are met with a high level of professionalism and care. Essential Functions of the Position
Participant Service: Respond to participant inquiries, assist with service requests, and provide guidance regarding retirement plan features and benefits.
Plan Setup Support: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the implementation of new retirement plans, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process .
Education Coordination: Assist in scheduling and coordinating educational meetings and materials for plan sponsors and participants to promote retirement readiness and financial wellness.
Client Relationship Management: Partner with the Director of RPS to build and maintain strong relationships with plan sponsors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
Fund Lineup Maintenance: Assist with the ongoing review and updating of investment fund lineups in retirement plans to ensure alignment with plan guidelines.
Department Growth Support: Contribute to the ongoing development of the RPS department by identifying process improvements and participating in strategic initiatives aimed at expanding our services.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in financial services or a related field
Demonstrated excellence in client services skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented, collaborative mindset
Self-motivated with a passion for helping to grow a department
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with 401(k), 403(b), or other qualified retirement plans
Familiarity with ERISA regulations and plan design
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: From $60,000
