Required Education:
• High school graduation or equivalent. Required Experience:
• Two (2) years of general office experience performing the full range of office support duties with extensive public contact and experience. Licensure or Certification Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license.

Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the International Programs retention administrative processes and provide student services for prospective, new and continuing students in student housing and other admin related areas.
Essential Functions:
Front Office & Daily Program Operations
• Assist and support the daily workflow in the front office of the department.
• Greet students, staff, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner; respond promptly to phone and email inquiries with timely and accurate communication.
• Promptly answer phones and provide referrals as necessary.
• Understand, articulate, and apply department policies, procedures, and philosophies.
• Create, maintain, educate, and enforce operations manuals and procedural guidelines.
• Assist with orienting students, faculty, staff, and the public in the use of departmental databases and electronic systems, including uploading documents and updating information.
• Properly refer students to project specialists, coordinators, and other staff, as well as campus and community resources. Clerical, Data & Administrative Support
• Provide general clerical assistance using office equipment, technologies, and file management systems.
• Input, process, and analyze data (in coordination with supervisor) using tools such as Banner, Excel, and Google Suite, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Provide administrative and retention support utilizing office-specific software such as TargetX and Banner, while demonstrating adaptability to software changes.
• Support retention team processes and student inquiries using clear verbal communication and timely, well-written responses.
• Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students. Housing Program Support
• Assist Retention and Housing Project coordinator with the housing application and placement process, including creating leases, processing roommate assignments, updating financial charges, and maintaining housing records.
• Assist Retention and Housing Coordinator with communicating and coordinating housing details with students, department employees, Titan Court, and agents.
• Assist in roommate mediation and conflict resolution throughout the academic year.
• Support move-in processes including arrival day logistics, airport pickups, and transportation coordination.
• Provide assistance with new student orientation, Welcome Week, and other housing program activities. Student Leadership & Community Engagement
• Assist Retention and Housing Coordinator with supporting student leader and residential peer mentor program with hiring, training, staff meetings, and event planning.
• Provide support for community-building efforts through on-campus events, Titan Court gatherings, day trips, and student activities throughout the year.
• Assist in event planning and logistics for student engagement and retention initiatives. Transportation & Logistics
• Assist with driving for events, day trips, airport pick-ups, supply purchases, and other projects as needed. Collaboration & Teamwork
• Actively participate in a shared workload using strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, lead workers, co-specialists, and departmental staff.
