We are seeking a manager to lead our independent retail division.
Annual Salary - $100,000 - $110,000
Duties: - Train, manage, and develop staff, including but not limited to sales reps, product specialists, and merchandisers
- Provide ongoing product knowledge and customer service training to sales team members
- Use Encompass software to develop business plans and reports to help sales team members boost sales
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with wine and spirits suppliers
- Make recommendations to curate and expand selection of wines and spirits, taking into account customer preferences and market trends
- Collaborate with sales and merchandising team members to create visually appealing displays and marketing tools
- Plan and execute wine and spirits tastings, promotional events, and educational seminars to engage customers
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages
QualificationsRequirements: - Bachelor's degree plus three years of wholesaler / supplier experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of wine and spirits
- Occasional night and weekend availability
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License with ability to meet company driving history requirements
- Ability to obtain State of Tennessee ABC Wholesalers Representative permit
- Drug and background checks
