As a Retail Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Store Manager to oversee store operations, elevate the client experience, and boost sales. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team of associates, fostering an engaging work environment focused on growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Store Operations and Sales:
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure daily operations run smoothly, ensuring a fantastic shopping experience for all clients.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of innovative strategies to enhance store sales and profitability.
  • Help track and analyze key metrics related to sales performance and overall operations.
Lead and Develop Your Team:
  • Guide, coach, and motivate team members to not only meet but exceed sales goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing development feedback to team members.
  • Support the leadership team in collaborating effectively to achieve all store objectives.
Enhance Client Satisfaction:
  • Champion exceptional client service to ensure satisfaction at all levels.
  • Address client concerns and offer appropriate and timely solutions.
  • Promote client loyalty programs and services to build strong connections and engagement.
Uphold Store Standards:
  • Maintain an impeccable store environment and visual presentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and protocols to create a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Exemplify Sephora's brand values, ensuring every client receives a high-quality in-store experience.
Manage Resources Effectively:
  • Assist in managing inventory levels for consistent product availability.
  • Support optimal staffing and resource allocation to enhance productivity and performance.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
  • Demonstrated success in a retail leadership role.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years managing within a high-volume retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a sound business understanding.
  • Exceptional client management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, attract, and inspire talented employees.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate retail hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to restock shelves, and stand/walk the sales floor throughout your shift in a fragrance-filled environment.
