Job description

Retail Team Leader we call you our Brand Leads. As a Brand Lead, you have your own style and are genuine ambassadors for our brand. You are an expert in delivering an exceptional customer brand experience in store. You will support the management team to motivate and lead the associate team to achieve store targets and strive for excellence across all areas.

Main responsibilities

Operations & Service

  • Utilize your local knowledge and sales expertise to deliver the ultimate brand experience.
  • Become an expert in our style choices and bring them to life for our customers.
  • Make confident decisions in the best interest of our consumers, including handling in-store consumer issues.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by embodying our behaviors, values, and style.
  • Be a positive role model, building trust through collaboration and honest communication.
  • Continuously develop your product knowledge and understanding of the business.
  • Ensure the store looks appealing, embracing the Superdry store look.
  • Take ownership of meeting business objectives set by the Store Leader, coaching the team to meet retail standards and service expectations.
  • Support compliance tasks such as loss prevention and health and safety.
  • Exceed expectations and promote this attitude within the team.
  • Share and promote the Superdry culture with colleagues.
  • Maintain awareness of store KPIs and contribute ideas to improve performance.
  • Be proactive and productive daily, making a positive impact.
  • Represent yourself authentically.
  • Hold keys and be responsible for opening and closing the store, including cash handling.

People (may vary depending on store)

  • Support daily supervision of the team.
  • Motivate and support colleagues to deliver excellent service.
  • Provide clear direction and inspire associates to achieve targets.
  • Lead the team alongside managers to meet store goals and create a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate operational tasks effectively.
  • Provide timely feedback, recognize successes, and address poor performance constructively.

  • Experience in retail/sales and store operations, ready to advance.
