What We're Seeking: We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Store Supervisor who embraces GNC's "Live Well" philosophy-living strong, living long, and living fit. In this key role, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional health and wellness solutions tailored to each individual customer.
What You'll Be Doing: - Guide and support your team to ensure outstanding service and customer care.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, enhancing business performance, product management, and equipping your team with the tools needed for success.
- Ensure products are presented according to GNC standards while promoting visibility and accessibility for customers.
- Enhance the shopping experience, focusing on visual displays, current promotions, and customer relationships that drive sales and loyalty.
- Achieve and surpass personal sales goals whilst mentoring team members to realize their sales capabilities.
- Build a strong team through effective leadership practices, including ongoing feedback, recruitment, and performance management.
- Manage store opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits according to GNC protocols.
- Participate in community events and promotions, communicating GNC's mission and initiatives effectively.
Physical Requirements & Work Schedule: - Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours daily.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching below waist and above shoulders.
- Regularly use repetitive hand motions and reach with arms and hands.
- Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 20 pounds.
- Climbing ladders and reaching for items stored overhead is required.
- Work in temperatures between 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stock areas.
- Utilize a computer approximately 60% of the day.
Retail Store Supervisors are expected to work five days, totaling forty hours weekly, with the following scheduling guidelines:
- Evening shifts must include two weekdays until closing, one weekend night, and one additional night.
- All managers are expected to work a full shift on Saturdays and at least one Sunday per month.
- Downtown managers must be available during lunch hours and at least one evening shift weekly if applicable.
- All managers are required to work during major U.S. holidays when the store is operational.

Compensation: The base hourly pay for this role is $18, with potential additional earnings through GNC's Individual Sales Incentive Plan. Pay rates may vary in accordance with minimum wage regulations. GNC's compensation package includes opportunities for advancement as employees grow within the company.
