Ideal candidates should possess at least 3 years of retail management experience, with thrift experience being a significant advantage. If you are motivated, confident, reliable, detail-oriented, and thrive under pressure, you will excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the management and direction of supervisors and team members in line with company policies and applicable laws.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a smile, prioritizing the needs of customers.
- Act as an ambassador for the company and store within the community.
- Ensure proper completion and retention of company records following policy.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and regulations of EEOC and DOT.
- Manage a team of 30-40 individuals effectively.
- Oversee financial assets of the store, achieving monthly sales and expense goals.
- Address performance issues directly and respectfully, maintaining a focus on solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years retail management experience (thrift experience preferred).
- Ability to think and operate with the mindset of a retail business owner.
- Strong prioritization, deadline management, and multitasking abilities with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to interact with various levels of the organization.
- Capacity to influence or make decisions effectively.
- Adept at identifying problems and proposing effective solutions.
