What We're Looking For: We are in search of a dynamic Retail Store Manager who embodies our "Live Well" philosophy-living strong, long, and fit. As a Store Manager, you play a crucial role in leading our team to success while delivering exceptional service tailored to our customers' needs.
What You'll Do: This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position
In this key role, you will:
- Lead, coach, and support your team to provide outstanding service and expert product knowledge to customers.
- Manage daily store operations, focusing on business performance and product management.
- Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards while enhancing customer visibility and accessibility.
- Enhance the shopping experience by ensuring operational efficiency and promoting customer loyalty programs.
- Achieve and surpass personal sales goals while motivating your team to achieve theirs.
- Build a strong, cohesive team through effective recruitment, feedback, and performance management.
- Handle opening and closing procedures alongside cash management and inventory tracking.
- Participate in community events to promote GNC's mission and values.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule: - Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching required.
- Repetitive hand and arm movements are necessary.
- Frequently lift up to twenty pounds, with occasional lifting of up to forty pounds.
- Climbing ladders and bending to reach products may be necessary.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stock areas.
- Use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
Store Managers are expected to work five days a week with the following guidelines:
- Availability for evening shifts at least two nights a week and working one weekend night.
- Full shifts on Saturdays are mandatory for strip center managers.
- Mall managers must work weekends and peak business days.
- Expect to work at least one Sunday each month.
- Downtown managers must attend to lunch hour shifts from 11am to 2pm, and one night shift per week if applicable.
- Be prepared to work during major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Compensation Benefits The base pay for Store Managers starts at $19.50 per hour, with potential for additional income through GNC's Individual Sales Incentive Plan.
