Position Overview: We are on the lookout for an energetic and motivated Retail Store Manager who embodies GNC's commitment to healthy living. Your Responsibilities: This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position - Lead, coach, and support your team to deliver outstanding service and guidance.
- Oversee daily store operations, focusing on business performance, product management, and team support.
- Ensure product displays align with GNC's standards while being accessible to customers.
- Enhance the shopping experience through effective visual merchandising and customer relationships to boost sales and loyalty.
- Achieve personal sales goals while empowering associates to reach their potential.
- Conduct team performance evaluations, hiring, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory control.
- Participate in community events to promote GNC's mission and initiatives.
Working Conditions: - Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours daily.
- Regular reaching, bending, and twisting required for tasks.
- Repetitive hand and arm motions may be necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally.
- Climb ladders and access various store areas safely.
- Work in varying temperatures, particularly in stockroom settings.
- Use a computer for up to 60% of your shift.
Store Managers are typically expected to work five (5) days a week (40 hours total), following these guidelines:
- Managers of mall and strip center stores must be available for at least two evenings during the week and one weekend night.
- Strip center managers are required to work a full shift on Saturdays.
- Mall managers should work on weekends, especially peak business days.
- Each manager should work at least one full Sunday monthly.
- Downtown store managers must be present during peak lunch hours Monday through Friday and one weeknight until closing.
- All major U.S. holidays require manager presence when the store is open.

Compensation: GNC provides a competitive hourly rate between $18 and $20, with additional earning potential through our Individual Sales Incentive Plan. Compensation is based on various factors, including experience and education, allowing for career progression as team members grow within their roles.
