As a Manager In Training, you will master the essential functions of managing a convenience store with guidance from top industry leaders. This role supports the Store Manager in providing exceptional customer service and managing the store team, leading to a great shopping experience for our guests.

Training Process:

During your training, you will work closely with Training Managers to learn effective management practices at our convenience store locations. You will rotate through various shifts to gain hands-on experience while also applying your leadership training as you progress through your supervisory weeks. Upon completion of your training, you'll join our talent pool for future leadership roles.

What You'll Do:
  • Welcome guests warmly to deliver outstanding Customer Service.
  • Assist the Store Manager in cultivating a strong team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure product availability to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs where applicable.
  • Help maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
  • Efficiently operate the cash register.
  • Support the Store Manager in food service operations, if applicable, and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education:

Minimum Experience: 1 year of retail or food service experience

Preferred Experience: 1 year of leadership experience in retail or customer service

Preferred Certifications and Skills: ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory

Scheduling: This is a full-time position with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as our stores operate 24 hours.

Hours and Conditions: Full-time, with a maximum of 40 regular hours and up to 5 hours of overtime as needed.

Travel: 5%. Must be able to independently deliver deposits to the bank (where applicable) using your own vehicle.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day is required. Will need to reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, grasp, and work in cooler temperatures.

Other: Specific attire is required in food establishments (hats/visors and gloves will be provided).
