Job Purpose
The Shift Lead is an ambassador for our mission, providing a best-in-class guest experience through product knowledge and passion for wellness. They handle guest-centric selling, order completion, transactions, and daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and profitability through guest-centric selling and teamwork.
- Model the selling process and foster a guest-focused culture.
- Provide performance feedback to managers.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees.
- Support community engagement and local marketing.
- Assist with inventory, order processes, and store cleanliness.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Enroll guests in our Loyalty Program.
- Conduct product sampling and share guest feedback.
- Perform opening/closing duties, including deposits and shipments.
- Lead by example, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain knowledge of products, ingredients, and allergens.
- Use POS systems efficiently.
- Ensure sales floor coverage and adhere to schedules.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Qualifications
- Interest in health, fitness, or wellness.
- Ability to build guest relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Results-driven with guest-centric selling success.
- Adaptability to new procedures and shifts.
- Previous retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership preferred.
- Cash handling and POS experience.
- California Food Handler Card or similar preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including holidays.
