Overview

As a Retail Sales Branch Leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the growth and success of our retail sales team. Your primary responsibilities will include recruiting, training, and guiding a high-performing sales team to exceed operational goals while adhering to company policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Development and Recruitment

  1. Engage in active recruitment for new team members, including Loan Officers, fostering relationships with recruitment sources for future needs.
  2. Follow growth training guidelines and conduct interviews in collaboration with Area/Regional Managers.
  3. Drive branch growth by generating leads and executing recruitment strategies with minimum standards, including regular networking and prospecting activities.
  4. Ensure adherence to the documented sales hiring process and manage the onboarding of new candidates effectively.
Onboarding and Transition

  1. Complete all necessary set-up protocols for new Loan Officers and ensure compliance with licensing processes.
  2. Maintain communication with HR regarding financial guidelines and prepare necessary documentation for new hires.
  3. Coordinate logistics such as equipment and training sessions, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
Coaching and Mentorship

  1. Take ownership of new hire success through structured training programs and continuous mentorship.
  2. Conduct weekly meetings during the transition phase to ensure development and integration into the sales culture.
  3. Implement training initiatives focusing on skill enhancement and team collaboration.
Sales Support and Administration

  1. Manage administrative functions to ensure report accuracy and timely communication of budgets.
  2. Develop thorough market knowledge, keeping track of competitors and marketing initiatives.
  3. Assist Loan Officers in achieving objectives and provide necessary resources for their success.
Personal Production

  1. Lead by example by meeting personal sales goals and adhering to company standards.
Corporate Support

  1. Maintain adherence to the company Code of Conduct and act as a liaison when needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of five years in loan origination.
  • A minimum of two years in a supervisory position.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS
  • Active NMLS license in good standing required.
