This position is crucial for the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored recommendations. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns and staying informed about product features, all while maintaining our visual and quality standards. You will work towards achieving exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets consistently.

Job duties involve interaction with customers, including minors, and may include access to cash and electronic payment methods, personal information, store merchandise, and valuable items, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect our business reputation and maintain a safe environment for customers, staff, and the community.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store , located at: 6516 South Broadway Tyler, TX 75703.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and offering suitable products and services.
  • Build trust-based relationships with customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately in line with company policies.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve and stock products as necessary.
  • Tint and mix products per customer specifications.
  • Set up displays and maintain store organization.
  • Communicate product knowledge and updates effectively.
  • Follow inventory control procedures.
  • Propose improvements for sales strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
  • Experience in selling paint or related products.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including Spanish.
