This role is crucial to the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your commitment to resolving customer concerns promptly is essential for ensuring maximum satisfaction while helping the store achieve its sales goals.
You will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of product features and ensuring the visual and quality standards of the store are met. This role involves customer interaction, including minors, as well as access to cash, electronic payment methods, and store merchandise, which requires a criminal history review for safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist customers in-person and via phone to identify needs.
- Build trust and relationships with customers.
- Accurately process sales transactions and follow store policies.
- Meet sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintain work order files and formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
- Stock shelves and set up engaging displays.
- Maintain cleanliness of store equipment.
- Support loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Assist in deliveries when required.
- Ensure a presentable condition in designated areas.
- Stay knowledgeable about available products and options.
- Follow inventory control procedures.
- Propose ideas to enhance sales strategies.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the country without sponsorship requirements.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License required.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of experience in retail or customer service roles.
- Experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
- Ability to operate tinting and mixing equipment is advantageous.
- Bilingual ability, especially in Spanish, is a plus.
