Retail Sales Associate (High-End Appliances) Description

Our client in the high-end home appliance industry is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to join their showroom team in Cedarhurst, NY. In this role, you'll help individual homeowners, contractors, and developers select from premier brands like Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador. You'll work on-site in a supportive, team-oriented environment where everyone has a voice and the earning potential is uncapped. You'll succeed in this role by understanding customer needs, advising with a consultative approach, and closing sales confidently. Candidates with 4+ years of consultative retail experience in high-ticket environments like appliances or furniture will feel right at home. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and thrives in a boutique-style sales floor without the pressure of a cutthroat environment.

Retail Sales Associate (High-End Appliances) Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in clients and provide expert product recommendations

• Develop and maintain long-term client and contractor relationships

• Manage pricing and quoting for bulk or contractor orders

• Stay current on manufacturer pricing, promotions, and incentives

• Use Excel and basic CRM tools to manage quotes and follow-ups

• Educate customers on product differences and guide purchase decisions

• Work weekend shifts (required 3 Sundays per month)

• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth showroom operations

• Support sales team in meeting monthly goals and quotas

Retail Sales Associate (High-End Appliances) Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales experience in a consultative environment required

• Consultative Sales experience required

• CRM experience required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required

• Ability to work weekends (2 to 3 Sundays/month) required
