Retail Receiving Support Associate

We are currently hiring a Retail Warehouse & Receiving Associate in Lombard, IL

What will you do as a Retail Warehouse & Receiving Associate?

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy, including counting products, checking weights, and comparing items against packing slips
• Identify and document damages, shortages, overages, or discrepancies on appropriate forms
• Accurately update the company system with shipment and inventory data
• Unload shipments safely and move products to assigned storage locations
• Ensure proper and safe storage of items in racks, designated locations, or ready rows using company systems and scripts
• Maximize warehouse space usage through organized and efficient product placement
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all inventory movements and transactions
• Assist in physical inventory and regular cycle counts
• Perform key inventory adjustments in the system when necessary
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure all areas are clean, free of debris, and well-organized
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment

Who qualifies for the Retail Warehouse & Receiving Associate position?

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and company protocols
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Background and drug screening required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 50 lbs.

What hours will the Retail Warehouse & Receiving Associate work?

• Full-time and part-time shifts available, however, preference will be given to candidates with evening and weekend availability
• Temp - to - hire position

How much will you earn as a Retail Warehouse & Receiving Associate?

• Starting pay is $16/hour, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
• Get paid weekly.
