Retail Promotions Manager
Aspen Home Improvements is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Retail Promotions
Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of appointment generators at BJ's Wholesale Clubs.
The ideal candidate will lead and motivate the team to generate high-quality leads while
ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, achieving performance goals, and representing
Aspen's brand in a positive, professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Recruitment and Training:
Recruit, onboard, and train appointment generators.
Conduct initial and ongoing training on products, promotions, and appointment-
setting techniques.
Provide hands-on coaching and role-playing sessions to enhance performance.
2. Team Management and Leadership:
Set daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation goals for the team.
Motivate and coach team members to consistently meet or exceed targets.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and
strategies for improvement.
3. Lead Generation and Event Execution:
Oversee the team's activities on the sales floor and ensure they follow proper
protocols.
Monitor promotions and special events within BJ's to maximize lead generation.
Collaborate with the marketing department to implement promotional strategies
and ensure smooth execution.
4. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Track and monitor individual and team performance through lead metrics and
conversion rates.
Submit weekly reports on lead counts, appointment outcomes, and team
progress.
Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement
action plans.
5. Quality Control:
Conduct spot checks and audits to ensure consistent quality and
professionalism.
Ensure team members accurately represent Aspen's products and promotions.
Address any customer complaints or issues arising from promotional activities
promptly.
6. Compliance and Store Relations:
Maintain positive relationships with BJ's store management and staff.
Ensure all promotional activities comply with store policies and company
guidelines.
Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing teams, preferably in retail, sales, or promotions.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM software).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
