Job Description Pilot Flying J is on the lookout for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to lead our high-traffic retail facilities. You will be key in generating and executing business plans for our travel centers and restaurants to achieve sales, profit objectives, and customer satisfaction.
The Retail Operations Manager will also:
- Ensure customer expectations are consistently met
- Lead meetings with team members
- Maintain strong vendor relationships
In this role, you will build, coach, and develop teams through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Driving sales growth
- Managing and developing team members
- Tracking and analyzing inventory
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Conducting financial P&L analysis
Starting pay rates range from $48,900.00 to $72,750.00 per year.
Qualifications As a Retail Operations Manager, you must exhibit integrity and accountability at all levels of management while showcasing excellent leadership skills. A flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Additional requirements include:
- 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or service industries with responsibility for financial outcomes
- Proven effective management in high-volume retail with P&L accountability
- The ability to foster and maintain a customer-focused culture
