Summary Our company is looking for a
dynamic and results-oriented Retail Operations Manager to oversee a team of 100+ merchandising associates across 200+ retail locations. If you enjoy traveling, connecting with employees and store personnel, and ensuring exceptional project execution for key merchandising initiatives such as category resets and product stocking, we want to hear from you. You will play a vital role in recruiting, training, and meeting client expectations while achieving exemplary on-time project execution and financial targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Train, coach, manage, and mentor associates within the assigned market area
- Ensure a 95%+ on-time execution rate for all projects
- Build strong relationships with retailers and clients
- Maintain regular communication with employees
- Respond promptly to company team members with actionable follow-ups
- Plan staffing to meet project requirements effectively
- Manage district costs, including drivetime and overtime
- Control merchandising expenses related to travel
- Develop a flexible labor pool for business spikes
- Collaborate as part of a Regional team, contributing to overall success
- Enthusiastically engage with clients and employees daily for execution excellence
- Handle employee relations professionally in partnership with HR
- Provide assistance to other districts as necessary
Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail with timely follow-ups
- Intermediate proficiency in web-based reporting and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to stand and move for up to eight consecutive hours
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver's license is required
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field preferred
- 1 - 2 years of retail or field operations experience required
- Understanding of Retail and/or Retail Merchandising practices
Travel Requirements: - Approximately 65% travel is required with frequent store visits
- Overnight stays may be necessary based on business needs
