Job Description Pilot Flying J is looking for a seasoned Retail Operations Manager to lead our high-volume retail facilities. You will take charge of crafting and executing business plans for our travel center and restaurant, achieving key standards, sales goals, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.
- Conduct effective meetings and training sessions with team members.
- Foster strong relationships with our vendors.
As a Retail Operations Manager, you will build, coach, and develop your team, handling staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Driving sales performance.
- Managing team member activities and morale.
- Overseeing inventory management.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Conducting P&L analyses.
Initial pay rates range from $51,000 to $73,910 per year.
Qualifications As a Retail Operations Manager, you must demonstrate integrity and accountability, along with excellent leadership qualities. Your schedule should be flexible to accommodate nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key qualifications include:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or another service industry, with a focus on financial performance.
- Proven experience managing in a high-volume retail setting with P&L accountability.
