Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team of over 100 merchandising associates across more than 200 retail locations. If you enjoy traveling, connecting with store teams, and ensuring top-notch execution of merchandising projects, we want to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include executing substantial merchandising initiatives, such as category resets and new item cut-ins, while ensuring exceptional performance and satisfaction for our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Train, coach, mentor, and manage a dynamic team of hourly employees
  • Achieve a 95%+ on-time execution rate for assigned projects
  • Build strong relationships with retailers and clients
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with employees
  • Provide timely and actionable feedback to the company team
  • Organize staffing to meet project requirements efficiently
  • Manage district costs, including drivetime, mileage, and overtime
  • Control merchandising expenses effectively
  • Develop a flexible labor force to handle business demands
  • Collaborate with the regional team to contribute to overall success
  • Travel frequently to engage with on-site teams and clients, driving execution excellence
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally, working closely with HR
  • Support other districts with staffing and execution needs
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Valid driver's license is required
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent supervisory experience
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant retail or field operations experience
  • Deep understanding of retail and merchandising practices
Travel Requirements:
  • Approximately 65% travel required with frequent daily or weekly visits to stores
  • Overnight stays may be necessary based on business objectives
