Summary We are looking for a
highly motivated and results-driven Retail Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team of over 100 merchandising associates across more than 200 retail locations. If you enjoy traveling, connecting with store teams, and ensuring top-notch execution of merchandising projects, we want to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include executing substantial merchandising initiatives, such as category resets and new item cut-ins, while ensuring exceptional performance and satisfaction for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Train, coach, mentor, and manage a dynamic team of hourly employees
- Achieve a 95%+ on-time execution rate for assigned projects
- Build strong relationships with retailers and clients
- Communicate effectively and regularly with employees
- Provide timely and actionable feedback to the company team
- Organize staffing to meet project requirements efficiently
- Manage district costs, including drivetime, mileage, and overtime
- Control merchandising expenses effectively
- Develop a flexible labor force to handle business demands
- Collaborate with the regional team to contribute to overall success
- Travel frequently to engage with on-site teams and clients, driving execution excellence
- Handle employee relations matters professionally, working closely with HR
- Support other districts with staffing and execution needs
Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license is required
Education and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent supervisory experience
- 1 - 2 years of relevant retail or field operations experience
- Deep understanding of retail and merchandising practices
Travel Requirements: - Approximately 65% travel required with frequent daily or weekly visits to stores
- Overnight stays may be necessary based on business objectives
