Golf Shop Merchandiser who embodies a "nothing is impossible" mindset. We want someone passionate about high-end private country club experiences, thrives in a dynamic environment, and believes in the power of teamwork to achieve excellence.
As our Golf Shop Merchandiser, you will: - Deliver world-class customer service by interacting with members and guests.
- Foster an innovative, growth-oriented environment with an eye for visual excellence.
- Create award-winning retail displays for our Golf and Tennis Shops
- Utilize the Jonas POS system to create SKUs, set pricing, and manage merchandise.
- Keep stockrooms organized and efficient.
- Manage the special-order process, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and clear communication with members.
- Collaborate with the Director of Retail on buying strategies and inventory planning.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels by reordering as needed.
- Maintain an active presence on the sales floor and ensure retail displays are "the best of the best."
- Conduct quarterly inventories and ensure adherence to inventory policies and procedures.
- Take full ownership of returns and defective items.
- Assist with planning and promoting Golf Shop events, including setup, execution, and vendor coordination.
- Develop a working knowledge of hard goods and assist the hard goods manager as needed.
- Support day-to-day member experiences at the sales counter.
- Analyze sales trends to forecast demand, determine stock mixes, and manage inventory turnover.
- Build strong, professional relationships with members, team members, and vendors.
- Prioritize and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
To excel in this role, you should have: - 1-2 years of merchandising/retail experience (preferred but not required).
- Private Club experience (a plus).
- A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to thrive in a high-paced, fast-moving environment.
- A team-oriented attitude with a "can-do" mindset.
