The Role:
We're seeking a talented Retail Marketing Manager to lead retail execution across North America. This role will be responsible for developing and executing retail marketing plans for Memebox's portfolio of brands with a focus on visual merchandising, digital product setup and optimization, sampling programs, education and events, and retail media campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the North American beauty retail landscape-especially Ulta Beauty and Target-and can seamlessly balance creative vision with analytical rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Strategy & Execution
- Own and implement comprehensive retail marketing plans to support product launches and core business across Sephora, Ulta, Target, Walgreens, Macy's, and Nordstrom
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Brand, Sales, Creative, Digital) to bring brand stories to life at retail
- Develop and manage retail calendars across all channels, ensuring deadlines and retailer requirements are met
Visual Merchandising
- Oversee planogram updates, gondola refreshes, and end cap design across mass and prestige retailers
- Collaborate with the Creative team to brief, review, and approve visual assets for in-store and online use
Digital Retail & Product Setup
- Manage product page setup and enhancements across retailer websites, including copy, images, videos, and A+ content
- Analyze online shelf performance and optimize content based on consumer behavior and retailer data
Sampling, Education & Events
- Concept, execute, and track sampling programs that drive trial and conversion
- Partner with Sales team to develop and execute engaging in-store and virtual education and event programs for beauty advisors and consumers
Retail Media & Analytics
- Lead retail media campaigns (e.g., Ulta Beauty Media, Target Roundel, Nordstrom Media Network) in partnership with digital agencies and internal teams
- Track and report on retail marketing KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to inform future programs
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in retail marketing, preferably in beauty
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience working with Ulta Beauty and Target
- Proven success developing and executing multi-channel retail marketing programs
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver flawless execution
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting retail data and using insights to inform strategy
- Creative thinker who can translate brand vision into compelling retail activations
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint as well as Google Suite (sheets, slides, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
