Viridian Staffing's Client is seeking an experienced and people-focused General Manager to lead one of their licensed cannabis retail locations in Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, high-energy leader to bring their expertise in retail operations, team development, and customer experience into one of the country's fastest-growing industries. If you're ready to shape store culture, drive performance, and elevate the in-store experience for both patients and staff, we'd love to hear from you.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the original recruiting and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

Our client is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance high-level decision-making with day-to-day execution. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store performance-including recruiting, training, team development, scheduling, compliance, customer service, and profitability. From managing budgets and P&L reports to implementing marketing efforts and ensuring regulatory compliance, you'll be the cornerstone of your store's success.

This is a role for someone who leads with integrity, builds strong team culture, and knows how to motivate people to do their best work. You'll be the go-to resource for your team, offering clear direction, accountability, and recognition of a job well done. You'll also act as a key liaison between the retail team and corporate leadership, offering insights and feedback to help shape broader company strategy.

To thrive in this role, you'll need 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume retail environment, with a proven track record of leading successful teams and managing budgets. 2+ years of experience as a Retail Leader in a Cannabis dispensary is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and a data-informed approach to decision-making are all critical.

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be and remain compliant with all applicable cannabis laws and licensing requirements. Must successfully pass all background and fingerprinting checks required by Florida state regulations.

If you're a collaborative, operationally savvy leader with a passion for empowering teams and delivering exceptional service, this could be your next big move.
